His Story
Houston Roots, Neighborhood Heart
A Houston kid through and through, John Richardson Jr. graduated from James Madison High School before studying at Sam Houston State University and answering the call to ministry at Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
A pastor first, John believes ministry doesn't stop at the church door — it shows up in the neighborhood. That conviction became the Hiram Clarke Community Foundation and a fairgrounds built to host the community, for the community.
The Cause
Why This Place Exists
Every event at H-Town Fairgrounds — from RNB Rodeo HTX to Praise to the Polls — raises funds and visibility for the Neighborhood Revitalization Project: a push to revitalize the Hiram Clarke neighborhood. Its families. Its businesses. Its future.
Faith in action, not just words.
“We don't just host events. We build the neighborhood.”
— Pastor John Richardson Jr.
